Grammarly Named to the 2025 Forbes Cloud 100 List

Updated on September 3, 2025Company

We’re honored to announce that Grammarly has been named to the 2025 Forbes Cloud 100, landing at 11th among the world’s top private cloud and AI companies. This is our sixth consecutive year on the list since 2020 and our seventh overall since 2017. The recognition reflects our sustained industry leadership, AI innovation, and the trust we’ve built with over 40 million people and 50,000 organizations worldwide.

Compiled by Forbes in partnership with Bessemer Venture Partners, the Cloud 100 celebrates companies shaping the future of technology. The ranking is based on market leadership, estimated valuation, operating metrics, and people and culture. For Grammarly, this honor reflects not just what we’ve built, but also where we’re headed next.

Building the AI superhighway

Grammarly has spent over 16 years building AI that helps people communicate clearly, effectively, and confidently. From the start, we’ve delivered what we think of as the original AI agent: real-time support embedded into more than 500,000 apps and websites, spanning documents, emails, messages, and more.

That deeply embedded infrastructure is what we call our AI superhighway, a platform that brings AI assistance directly to where people already work. While many vendors layer AI onto legacy tools, adding complexity instead of clarity, we’ve taken a different approach. We’re building AI that enhances people’s unique voices and workflows without getting in the way.

The result? Less friction. More focus. And AI that supports your intent, not guesses or overrides it.

From assistant to AI productivity platform

This recognition comes as Grammarly transitions from a trusted assistant into a full AI productivity platform, built to meet the needs of professionals working in an increasingly complex and fast-paced environment.

That evolution is accelerating through our recent acquisitions of Coda and Superhuman, along with the launch of our new AI agents and writing surface for students and professionals.

  • Coda delivers an intelligent workspace where users and apps collaborate seamlessly to plan, research, analyze, and share information all in one place.
  • Superhuman, the AI-native email app, empowers users to respond to emails up to two days faster and reclaim up to four hours each week.
  • Our new specialized AI agents and writing surface support users at every stage of the writing process, keeping them in control while streamlining their work.

Together, these innovations represent the future we’re building: an ecosystem of intelligent, task-specific agents that adapt to your unique voice, work style, and goals. These agents do not replace human judgment, but extend your capabilities, freeing you to focus on the creative, strategic, and high-impact work only you can do.

One step in a bigger journey

As we look ahead, the challenge of AI isn’t adopting new tools; it’s making them useful, intuitive, and trustworthy. Grammarly is building AI that works the way people do: embedded in the apps they use, adaptable to different contexts, and designed to simplify work. With task-specific agents and intelligent apps, we’re helping people and teams stay focused, efficient, and clear.

Being named to the Forbes Cloud 100 again is an exciting milestone, but just one step in a bigger journey. As we evolve into a platform for apps and agents, our focus stays on building AI that people can trust, while keeping their agency front and center.

To our users, customers, and incredible team: thank you for helping us get here. We’re energized by what’s next and proud to be building a future where everyone can work with clarity, confidence, and control.

Your writing, at its best.
