I had thought my writing was error-free. Until I found Grammarly, an online tool that helps me correct contextual spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and style. Seriously, it’s a magical piece of software anyone who writes anything should possess.
Using Grammarly to proofread my novel is like popping bubble wrap, it's so addictive and soothing to pop error after error after error.
Grammarly is easy to use. I love the seamless way it works with email to help you correct grammar and spelling errors as you work. I am in the marketing and communications business, so I really rely on it. I have recommended it to several coworkers and they love it.
[The Grammarly Chrome extension] has helped me very much. Having had a stroke, I have forgotten how to spell many simple words. Grammarly is right on the scene to make sense out of my writing. Love it! Thank You.
I am a four-star freelance writer on Textbroker.com, and they are particular about assigning their rankings. Too many mistakes, and you lose a star. Three-star authors not only earn less income, but they also have fewer available assignments to write. Grammarly catches mistakes that MS Word misses. Grammarly is saving my stars!
Don’t have an editor but need another set of eyes to help perfect your writing? Get Grammarly. This tool is akin to your very own grammar coach that can proofread and correct up to 10 times more mistakes than a regular word processor.
[Grammarly's browser extension] is an unobtrusive tool which doesn’t slow down the browser and pops up when it spots a potential error. I love it, because it cuts down on the number of typos when leaving blog comments or writing social media posts.
Another thing I like about Grammarly is that it provides grammar explanations with examples, when it suggests changes to your writing.
[I]f you have a hard time with grammar and comfortable phrasing then subscribing to Grammarly for a while is a great way to review common mistakes that you make.
I use Grammarly as my last line of defense. When I think a piece is perfect, I run it through the program and usually find two or three errors that I’m glad I caught. This makes me better at my job, and makes the jobs of my clients and editors much easier.
The service goes beyond the basic spell check and grammar check built into the word processor, as Grammarly can identify correctly spelled words that are used in the wrong context.
[Grammarly Lite] perfectly syncs with all your web applications. Whether you are writing an email or chatting with your friends, Grammarly will show you the suggestions to correct your mistakes.
For checking my work for improvement beyond the simple spelling errors, one of the services I use is Grammarly. It's an online service that quickly and easily makes your writing better and makes you sound like a pro, or at least helps you avoid looking like a fool.
Essentially, Grammarly offers the same features as a thesaurus, a quality grammar checking program, and a plagiarism checker. While you can purchase each of these tools separately elsewhere, Grammarly combines them, which is actually quite nice.
Grammarly - Simply bloody marvelous! No more useless grammar/spell and thesaurus of Microsoft Word.
If you are a stickler for sound prose, you should give the Grammarly Lite browser extensions a try.
Getting started with Grammarly is incredibly easy.
Grammarly...is 1ST Class I suggest everyone use it.
It corrects up to 10 times more mistakes than popular word processors. After trying it out, I’m totally hooked!
I'm seriously considering asking for a Grammarly subscription for Christmas!
Grammarly is a life saver.
It has cleared up a lot of my grammar issues in my third novel that I would have never caught while doing my first draft read-through.
Grammarly does not change your document—it highlights punctuation, sentence structure, passive voice and writing style. You decide what you want to accept, and how to change it. This program keeps the author in complete control.
Must be an important email I just sent considering I Grammarly'd it. Guess I should do that with most emails.
Grammarly rocks because it gives me confidence in my writing. Thanks, Grammarly!
Grammarly out-performed Word’s grammar and spell-checker by far.
I think Grammarly is a remarkable tool for all kinds of writers, especially self-publishing authors who may not be able to afford numerous (or one) editor. I WISH I had this product during my past four years at college, but at least I’ll be able to use it during my last semester.
It thinks of so many options for you that it should improve even the most experienced of writers...and while you may not agree with everything the report offers, it’s certainly a big step to making your writing the best it can be.
Grammarly offers a quick way to review for the basics if you are not satisfied with the grammar and spell checks that come with your word processing software.
Using [Grammarly] couldn't be simpler.
Grammarly also points out punctuation mistakes and you can double-click on any word to see synonyms or look up word definitions.
I might have some skill with editing other people's work, but I'm often blind to my own mistakes, so that 'second set of eyes' is kinda handy.
My overall takeaway is that this service is awesome for academic purposes, especially for high school and college students who are trying to improve their “proper” writing.
It's a challenge for me to catch my own mistakes, because I see what I think I wrote. Grammarly has helped me catch those errors.
If you are searching for a self-editing program that is easy to use and extremely helpful, Grammarly is for you.
[I]n early use I am impressed by Grammarly's ease of use and the scope of the grammatical and stylistic rules it addresses.
The Grammarly online grammar checker is a competent, thorough and accurate application.
[Grammarly is] definitely catching more mistakes than when I just used Word's spell and grammar checker. Now, I use Microsoft Word's checker first, then run Grammarly to catch the rest of my errors.
The simplicity of the [Grammarly] program allows any user to effectively navigate through the correction process.
Grammarly offers an exceptional grammar review and spell check tool that comes in handy for virtually every writing occasion.
Thank you Grammarly.com you helped me get a 97 on my first major paper of the new semester!
Grammarly is an awesome online proofreading tool. I like it. Almost every doc I create, I run through Grammarly.

Thank you! As a graduate student you have brought my GPA from an A to an A+. I have also won several research grants and scholarships because of your help.
I adore grammarly. I have used grammarly earlier for checking grammar and for now, while I'm contributing in grammarly answers and here on facebook as well, I believe that it has helped me to join all what I study in class with what I do at night while I go on line.
It has a clean user interface and has treated me well so far. It isn't cheap, but it ain't bad either. It looks like it will be worth the investment.
Used Grammarly to proofread half of my doctoral proposal last night. An unbelievable tool worth checking out for anyone's academic writing!
Perfectionist tip of the day: Use Grammarly.com - but understand it is not your boss!
Used Grammarly to check website copy for grammar, spelling etc. Didn't expect much from an automated proofreader, but it's good. Recommend!
Giving grammarly a try. Interesting. Has pointed out some bad writing habits.
