"He would alive" vs "He would be alive"

Dear All,

I came across the sentence: 1) "He would alive".

I expected something like: 2) "He would be alive".

Is the first sentence correct? does it have the same meaning as the second one? Is the verb is an auxillary verb in the first sentence?

Thanks in advance,

You can't take a transcript of a movie to use for grammatical purposes. The word 'be' may have been left out by accident.
