Do you have an API available or plan to create one soon?

A Grammarly API would be really useful for a project I'm working on at the moment :(

For a long time I am waiting for the API by grammarly. But recently I found API grammar checker - textgears.com Maybe someone will be useful.

link answered May 26 '16 at 05:19 Сергей Кирилин Contributor

It looks like textgears use Grammarly themselves in their online checker. This is really weird.

I second the demand for the API.

I third. It would be a very smart move to offer it as a plugin for Wordpress.

Same story, i want to use grammarly with evernote and can write a plugin, but i need an api

link comment answered Oct 30 '15 at 05:54 Pavel Egorkin Contributor

I will be actually interested to subscribe on a long term basis if there is an API - or if you can provide something that functions as a makeshift API. I will have thousands of paragraphs to process - and would like to be able to (automatically) batch-send them and batch-receive the feedback - which will be used to prompt and assist human editors to check or revised each paragraph.

A old man climbs a steep mountain with 3000 steps, and after several days, he reached the zenith. The Oracle saw this feeble man, and granted him one question. After catching his breath and fumbling forward with this wooden cane, the old man asked, "Where is the Grammarly API?".

Stay tune for scenes from the next episode of "Grammarly". ;)

You might be thinking of the "Grandparly API".

+1 request to get an API done.

link comment answered Apr 20 '13 at 08:01 Anton Vishnyakov New member

At the risk of jinxing things, you guys could probably make SIGNIFICANT INCREMENTAL REVENUE if you offered an API on a per-user licensing agreement (or changed your pricing for more one-offs).

It would be much easier for me to simply incorporate your functionality into my product and give you a cut, vs. the onerous process of trying to drive an affiliate sale to you (too many "breakage" points).

For others that find this thread -- anyone know of a competitor with an API? I'm OK with it being lower quality -- happy to make that trade-off for convenience.

API please! Service is pretty good, I would love to use the grammarly tools in my preferred editor. Using the web app is clunky and I have to copy and paste just to use grammarly..

link comment answered Mar 07 '14 at 13:31 James Morrin New member

Hey Guys! Please offer a wordpress plugin for the paid users of Grammarly. This is really not hard to do, trust me! Since you already have the engine it just needs some APIs and a smart wordpress plugin developer.

Do us a huge favor and please add this as a value to our paid subscriptions.
