A dictionary tells us about meanings of words...... A vocabulary is given to test our English skills..........If still not clear check the DICTIONARY! :)

A dictionary is a book full of definitions of words, their pronounciations, and their common uses.

"I looked the new word up in the dictionary."

A vocabulary is the complete lexicon of words that a person knows.

"She has a big vocabulary and always knows the perfect word for any situation!"
