Is this sentence correct? "John drives his car to go to an office to work." thanks.
It is grammatically correct, but is stylistically wordy and awkward. It ends with too many infinitive "to go" and prepositional "to" phrases strung together. Perhaps:
"John drives his car to his office" or "John drive his car to work."
I hope this helps.
