Misspelled words and typos


in the citing et al. this spell checker wants to have et al

I believe et al. is correct

Zota, et al., 2005.

You're correct, you should have a period after 'al' because it is an abbreviation of 'alii'.  Et doesn't need a period because it is not an abbreviation.
