Journalist View

I am pretending to be a journalist who had investigated the murder of King Duncan in Shakespeare's play, Macbeth. I am having trouble phrasing this sentence properly. Please help.

See example:

The wouden body of the late King Duncan was found in the castle of Macbeth by the King's son, Macduff.

The wooden(?) body of the late King Duncan was found in Macbeth’s castle by the King's son, Macduff.

Wooden - a bit strange to my ears, I would use rigid (or something else).

Found - discovered would be better in my opinion

Another possibility:

King Duncan's bloodied body was discovered in Macbeth's castle by his son Macduff.

The first idea is best. I would use "discovered" as well.
