Use of the passive voice

I have a problem with use of the passive voice in the following example: “This essay will be separated into three parts: (1) the definition of empiricism and postmodernism; (2) the similarity of empiricism and postmodernism; (3) the difference between the two above mentioned concepts.”

I'm not exactly sure if a question is being asked here. And I'm also not sure if that sentence is in passive voice. I think passive voice would be something like:

"Three parts will make up this essay: [etc here]"

Your problem is here: 'will be separated' -- passive voice.  With what you are writing, it is difficult to use active voice.  Active voice would require you to say something like: "I've divided this essay into three parts".  You may be able to use active voice depending on the preferences of your audience.
