Sequence of tenses

I often find myself unable to figure out the correct tenses for sentences like the following:

“We’ve had the water heater on low all winter. Every time I’ve had a bath this winter, the water has run cold before I finished bathing”? or “before I have finished bathing”?

What would be the right combination of tenses here, if the water heater is still on low and if it’s still winter and the water still runs cold every time I bathe. Thank you.
