definite article


I am writing a technical paper in which I am talking about three machines: machine A, machine B and Machine C.During the text when I refer to these machines should I use "the" before them?For example, which one is correct?Machine A has higher efficiency than machine B.orThe machine A has higher efficiency than the machine B.
