- "Presently" is dodgy, unless you are about to contrast the current state with a past or future state in the next sentence.

- "is as long as" is ponderous and unnecessary.  Just "is" will do.

-  "by a link of" should be "by linking"

-  There should be a period at the end.

-  Spell out "meters".
