faulty parallelism

different word patterns in sentence

See example:

We call it a car instead of "an engine driving the wheels with a body atached to carry passengers", to make it easier for us not only to transfer the thought within our mind, but also to others.

Get rid of the comma after the quote.

"Not only" A

"But also" B

"Not only" to transfer the thought within our mind (infinitive phrase [to+verb+words])

"But also" to others (prepositional phrase [to+object])

You need to convert "to others" into an infinitive phrase.

"Not only" to transfer the thought within our mind" (infinitive)

"But also" to transfer the thought to others" (infinitive)

You could also change the second infinitive and have it still be parallel; "to demonstrate", "to display", "to present", etc.
