Subject and verb agreement
I have a problem with subject and verb agreement in the following example: “The hero of the story manages « to be itself » not only in a usual life, but it does not change to itself even then when to it accept the death sentence.”
The Grammarly got confused. You were using 'it' instead of 'he'. You're sentence is not clear and there was a mix up.
“The hero of the story manages to be himself, and not only in a usual life. He does not change his character even when accepting the death sentence.”
