Please help, which one is correct:

  • "My friends are very busy" or "My friends are too busy"
  • "but never very busy" or "but never too busy"

i) Use "very busy" to indicate "My friends are very busy (right now or currently)," but they could be free later.

ii) Use "too busy" to indicate "they are too busy (to do something else)" - for e.g.,

" friends are too busy (to play golf, or to make time for something else you may want them to do)."

Hope this helps.
