general vs, technical language

I was reviweing my task and, by curiosity, decided to try different kinds of language, in this case general vs. technical. The score for general was 50 whereas the technical one was 71. I would like to have a possible explanation because English is not my mother tongue. thank you in advance!

See example:

Once a town adjacent Sarda consultants as a strategic peninsula and as a liaison point with the old road Gjakova-Ulcinj-Shkodra, was home to large feudal family of Dukagjinis where they built the royal palace, now a deserted town surrounded by crown the beautiful crystalline water the consultants has become an island in an interesting and important tourist point, what remains today: the main entry consists of the palace and a church of Roman architecture.
