To say that something is "in Produce" or "in Production" tends to mean it is in the Produce/Production Department.

"The new product is in production" << the new product is being made at the moment, on the production line.

In the UK (and possibly other countries) the name 'Produce' is commonly given to the fruit and vegetable section in supermarkets.

"The new product is in Produce" << the new product is in the Produce section of the supermarket.
