"interest to" this job?

Is it possible to say:

"I wish to present my deep interest to this job"?

Or it must be

"I wish to present my deep interest in this job"?

If both are feasible, what would be the difference?

There are certain collocations with the word 'interest', but they all take the preposition 'in'.

"He has an interest in airplanes."

"He is interested in planes."

"He has taken an interest in planes."
