Is the sentence below a compound, compound-complex, or complex sentence?


After the 9-11 tragedy, the USPS was flooded with requests for commemorative stamp.

(please explain how you saw the answer) i am having trouble identifying this.

This is a complex sentence.  The main clause (subject-predicate) is joined by a clause which adds more information ("After 9-11. . ."), but is not another complete clause (subject-predicate).
