Possibly. (How's that for a definite answer?)

I can't quite decide whether "environment" is being used here as a formal, proper name of something (in which case it should be capitalized) or as a generic description (not capitalized). For example, you might write: "Yesterday in math class, I took a test." Here math class is a generic description and not capitalized. But. In graduate school, I was a teaching associate for a class titled "People and the Built Environment" (capitalized).

Not knowing the author's full intention, I would err on the side of capitalizing Enviroment topic.

I hope this helps.
