'reblog ' cannnot be used as a verb?

I think ' reblog' is a verb.

See example:

I think you should reblog something you like .

Perhaps "re-posting" of a blog you like is more appropriate.

Yes, "reblog" can be used as a verb.  It is the predicate of the subject of the sentence.

I will "reblog" this information to let everyone see it.  example

"Will reblog" is the complete predicate.  It is what the subject "I" does or plans to do in the sentence.

I am wondering what word the esteemed New York Times would use in place of "reblogging."

Most likely, you are correct. Our language is constantly evolving. If you can blog something, then someone else can probably reblog that same thing. Each year a handful of new words are added to the dictionary. It's pretty fascinating. When you are using a relatively new word, like "reblog," you are given creative license. How and when you use this new word will help to shape how it's used throughout the English-speaking world. If it catches on, then maybe someday your kids or grandchildren will be looking it up in a dictionary.
