Should the a be removed from this sentance?

the sentance does not sound right with the a removed.

See example:

So I was looking for a way to organize my files that I use on every PMSA into a one stop spot.

Did someone suggest that the "a" should be removed?  That might be because you would usually use "a" or "one", but not both words together as they mean essentially the same thing.  I think the confusion could be solved by putting a hyphen in one-stop.  That would make it clear that it was an adjective, which is what I believe you mean to have.
