Email Greetings and Salutations


Which example is correct for an email greeting, "Hi, LuAnn." or "Hi LuAnn,"?

If you are starting a paragraph with it, use the first.  If you are looking for a saluation to open a casual letter with you can use 'LuAnn,'.  The construction 'Hi LuAnn,' can be used, but it's very informal and is best used with friends or close acquaintances.
