That depends whether the conjunction is an internal or external connector. *Besides that* at the start of the sentence is fine (followed by comma) if it is connecting to the preceding sentence.


Hussain, your sentence is ok. Perhaps try "Besides that, an excess of binder is wasteful and slows the subsequent debinding, resulting in / which causes greater ...."
