'anyone of us' VS. 'any one of us'

I was wondering if 'anyone of us' is never possible or is there another meaning in it? Although I have seen it a lot, some experts say that 'any one of us' is right, but 'anyone of us' is a common misspelling. Could you explain it? Thank you so much as usual and have a good day.

Technically "any one of us" is the correct option.  This article explains it better than I could: http://grammar.about.com/od/words/a/anyone.htm
