The usage of 'as now'

"Your sister gave you some exercises or helped you as now you are 90% better."

In this sentence, I exactly don't know about usage of 'as now'.

How can I correctly use this? In what kind of sentence?

Can I just think of that as 'and now' or ' so that' ? ^^

Please someone give me a hand.

I would say something like:

"Your sister must have given you some exercises or helped you, seeing as you are now 90% better."

Hope that helps:)
