Hello: I have a question. Please, give me an example of a sentence that is considered to be a a run on long run on sentence. I have improved greatly in this area, but I am still working on sentence structure.

For example, Bill and Sally went to the mall, and they found that the children were not in school today, and they got so upset when the teacher called, and the childre were not able to go outside to play for a few day, and their friends laughed at them, and then they did no want to go back to school. Is this sentence to long?

See example:

Abstractions are part of our mental grids that help us by chopping reality into fragments so that we may organize it and put it into our grasp of understanding.
