When I use grammarly I have been asked to remove punctuation that I know is correct. I'm told to remove words that make my essays flow smoothly in order to receive a score of 100. Is this common? I love using grammarly but this bothers me. Thanks

It's important to remember that Grammarly is a machine and runs on algorithims rather than fluidly changing like a person would.  If Grammarly suggests changes that you know are not appropriate, you should not change the text.  Futhermore, I want to emphasise that the scoring is only a rough guide and doesn't reflect the actual grade you might receive for the writing.
