Topic

To begin with, a topic is required. If only the topic is given, the research will have to cover quite a broad area so that you can create an appropriate thesis from the learned information. Research the general topic, and think about four or five specific topics which might suit your paper. Of those four or five specific topics, one will probably stand out as your favorite: read even more on that specific topic. If you find yourself running low on resources, switch to one of the other specific topics.
