Jargon
Jargon – words which are only used within a small group of people for a specific purpose – is just a bad thing to use in writing. It limits your readership severely, as jargon is usually not understood outside its immediate area of use. Regardless of your intended audience, remove all jargon from your writing.

I’d like to set up a meeting with you.
This program is geared towards the end-user.
This program was developed specifically for the needs of the customer.
