Analysis
The analysis answers the important questions: how and why. In most academic writing, this is the crucial part: if it’s not done correctly, then the argument hasn’t been written properly and the reader isn’t convinced the writer knows what he/she is talking about. This is where logic and development come in, and the two need to work together.
Students, because humans naturally learn through mimicking, adopt Austen’s patterns of speech as they absorb the lengthy text. When the students write, Austen’s long-windedness and inability to use proper punctuation appear as a learned behavior.
As rumors of war intensify, the young men are encouraged to immediately adopt warrior-like personalities, even if such behavior has been previously discouraged. Sudden changes in personality, especially if in response to emergency situations, have been shown to have detrimental effects on general health and well-being.
