Capitalization: The Pronoun I
The pronoun I is always capitalized, regardless of the context in which it is used or its placement in the sentence. It’s even capitalized within a quote.
“I am not a criminal,” Nixon said.
I think, therefore I am.
Who am I, and where am I going?
Will you finish washing the dishes or shall I?
I’m not going outside today (I’m sick).
