Global Revisions
Read the paper through before you make any judgments and before you try to find typos, misspellings, or wrong words or sentences. Make judgments on the first rereading about whether you do, in fact, do what you set out to do. Also, does your development support your thesis statement? Are there holes in the development that you need to fill? Have you gone overboard and should you remove some of the information?
Does the thesis seem worthwhile and valuable and worth considering? Do you need to go back to the drawing board and refine your thesis? (By the way, this is common for writers, even professional ones). Is your material up-to-date? Do you need to go back to the writing ideas stage and do some more research?
