Tomorrow, March 4, is National Grammar Day – one of the most anticipated “holidays” in the Grammarly team’s calendar! In celebration, we are planning to run a series of “Edit This” mini-contests on Facebook and Twitter.
Here’s how the mini-contests will work: Grammarly will post images of three incorrect sentences on both Facebook and Twitter. Participants in the contest may share their preferred edits in the comment and reply sections of either social media platform.
On March 6 at 5:00 a.m. EST, we will randomly select the winning editor of each post (six winners in total). The winners will be contacted on March 6, 2014. As follow-up, we will be featuring our favorite “corrections” in another blog post – so be creative and be accurate!
Last year, the Grammarly team collected photos from our Facebook fans of their favorite grammar gaffes. Looking for a laugh, or to get your creative juices flowing? Take a look at some of the funniest photos of grammar mistakes here.
