I'm a linguist. What up, prescriptivists.
Talking about what you think language should be, or about the notion of correct and incorrect grammar is silly and unproductive. Human language has categorically ignored every historical attempt to confine and institutionalize it. Why not just enjoy it for what it is, and look at all the awesome variability in grammar, pronunciation, and semantics, rather than trying to homogenize everything into a bland Strunk and White flavoured paste?
