The sentence looks more or less correct, but I think your word choice is a little awkward.
This department enables workers to get work done effectively because they are separated according to the fields they specialize in.
1) 'accurately' means something more like 'precisely' or 'with attention to detail' rather than 'correctly' or 'well', which is what I think you wanted to say.
2) It sounds strange to say the departments within the department. I've inferred your meaning and suggested what I think sounds most clear.
