You need to give more context. The only thing wrong with this that I can see is that doubled should be double.

A synonym is a word that replaces another word – a verb to replace a verb, a noun to replace a noun.  There is no synonym for such a long phrase.  If you are looking for synonyms for one or more specific words, a thesaurus is the most handy tool.  (Try www.thesaurus.com.)  In fact, I highly recommend using a thesaurus any time you are writing.

A set of two doors is called a “double door” – no “d” on the end.

Well.... technically a double door is two doors in series. A door with two leafs (correctly spelled in this context) is called a door pair.. But the public doesn't know that. So never mind. (There must be some deep semiotic meaning behind this that only German philosophers can divine.)
