What is the proper capitalization for these two sentences:
We live in the South but my Dad lives in the West.
We saw a Siberian tiger at the circus.
Actually, "my dad" is not capitalized. If you refer to your father as Dad, then it is capitalized because it's essentially his name. But, when you refer to him as "my dad", it's no different than "my brother" or "my cousin" or "my friend".
The rest is correct.
