Should I use This or That in the sentence

This is what leads me to believe that every individual has their own perception of what is really real.

I'm assuming this example follows a reason (or reasons, presented as a single argument) for your profession of Cartesianism or solipsism, then your sentence is correct, as is. "That" would also work as the initial word in the sentence, but I generally dislike the word "that" for stylistic reasons. Personally, I may even omit it from between "believe" and "every."
