i want to work as a member of the research team so may I write it as "I am highly motivated to work with the research team"

Yes, you can. "I am highly motivated to work with the research team" is a grammatically correct sentence.

The pronoun "I" is capitalized, and sentences end with a full stop (.), an exclamation (!) mark or a question mark (?).
