profusely means?
what's the meaning of profusely
See example: profusely
1 answer
My dictionary says:
Profuse: adj. (esp. of something offered or discharged) exuberantly plentiful; abundant : I offered my profuse apologies.
Profusely is the adverb form. That is, instead of modifying a noun, it modifies a verb: She greeted us profusely.
Also, next time you wonder about a word meaning try this: Go to Google and type "define" followed by your word.
