So, at long last you cared to remember me! of late, I have not been keeping in good health.  What about your tea addiction? Are you still going 20 cups strong a day? I hope you will be coming over to this side at Rahul's wedding.

I hope you will be coming over to this side at Rahul's wedding.-----It appears to be a  bit awkward to me.  How do I restructure this sentence?

Are you still going 20 cups strong a day?-----Do you still have a raging tea  addiction?

So, at long last----At last

Please tell me the difference between At long last and At last.

At long last is to at last as very big is to big.

I hope you will be sitting on our side at Rahul's wedding.

Are you still going strong at 20 cups a day? (Do you still have a raging tea  addiction? is OK, too.)

I didn't get the meaning of At long last and At last. Would you mind explaining it with some examples? Thank you in advance.

What I meant was that "at long last" is simply implying a longer period of time than "at last" – they mean exactly the same, except that the former is slightly stronger.

The relationship between "at long last" and "at last" is the same as the relationship between "a very long time" and "a long time".
