im confused
i thought that the period should go inside the brackets

American and British punctuation differs in this respect. This may help:
AmE inside
BrE outside
Notice that the above statements take about the same amount of space on the page – if you get it wrong, they don't. If you want to hit the target, aim (AmE) inside, not outside.
You also need a comma after No.
