Wordiness
I have a question regarding this sentence being to wordy. I am describing a person wih OCD, (obsessive compulsive disorder.) A person may check all the doors to be sure they are locked repeatedly--go through out the house to make sure they are turned off they are turned off.
Can I get some help with his please?

Your sentence repeats itself. The second part (after the dash) restates the first, but with errors. Here is a revised sentence:
A person with OCD may ritually check all the doors repeatedly to make sure they are locked.
