I have a question regarding this sentence being to wordy. I am describing a person wih OCD, (obsessive compulsive disorder.) A person may check all the doors to be sure they are locked repeatedly--go through out the house to make sure they are turned off they are turned off.
Can I get some help with his please?
A person may check all the doors to make sure they are locked repeatedly -- go through this ritual through out the house to make sure that hey are turned off.
Your sentence repeats itself. The second part (after the dash) restates the first, but with errors. Here is a revised sentence:
A person with OCD may ritually check all the doors repeatedly to make sure they are locked.
I hope I haven't missed your meaning.
