The additional clause added to the last sentence is poorly written. Journals are often peer-reviewed, but you won’t find those reviews. A peer review is not like a movie review. It is the process that academic or professional publications use to make certain that the paper is suitable for publication. The reviews are not published. One can search for scholarly papers and find peer-reviewed journals.
