In her new house, she feels secluded from the rest of the neighborhood, or the rest of the planet for that matter.

By the sentence, I meant to say that the house is very isolated....

Is the use of "for that matter" in the sentence correct?

for that matter(Adverb)  means as far as that is concerned; "for that matter I don't care either"

I don't find any problem with your sentence.

"In her new house, she feels secluded from the rest of the neighborhood, or  the rest of the planet for that matter."
