Bad advice

It seems they flagged this wrongly as subject/verb disagreement:

"Rythm and pauses are..."

A compound subject is always plural, so IS should not be used here. And if I used pauses by itself, ARE is still the proper word.

See example:

Rhythm and pauses in speech are important to feminine speaking, just like in music.
