Although some of their islands are not large, but many tourists are attracted
(How to change this sentence without having a passive voice )
Although some of their islands are not large , but many tourists are attracted .
In making your sentence active, Lewis corrected (but did not mention) another problem with your sentence.
"Attracted" -- along with its other forms: attract, attracts, attracting -- is a transitive verb. Transitive verbs must have an object -- and your original sentence does not. ... are attracted to visit. ... are attracted to the islands.
These solutions become somewhat awkward. The active version Lewis offered avoids the awkwardness.
