Yes, you need a comma. I agree with Tolley. I've been networking socially for a least 30 years. But "social networking" now has an updated meaning, as if someone made it up with the introduction of Facebook & Twitter. Is it really an era, too?
Rather than positives and negatives, I'd go with pros and cons.
