p/s: How to explain the sentence, "My house is across the McDonald?"
- Does it mean opposite as well?
or
- Does it mean i can either see or not to see the McD from my house YET i have to cross the road to reach the McD?
1 answer
"My house is across the McDonald" It means that your house is on the other side of the road and not on the same road. You can see McDonald, but you have to cross the road to reach McDonald.
